Liturgical Calendar

Each year begins a new Liturgical Calendar , which program us, helps us to live the year of Faith stations a year. But it encompasses much more than a year, because it lasts three years, what is known about three cycles: Cycle A, Cycle B and Cycle C.

Currently we completed the cycle C by 2013 and begin the cycle A 2014.

One of the things that is most striking of the three cycles is that the end of the third cycle , the believer throughout this period has completely read the Bible.

And so it is up to each year, the summit is the period in which they are re- living the death and resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ . The stages are:

- Advent ( preparatory time for the birth of our Lord )
- Christmas ( Time of celebration and reception of our Lord )
- Ordinary Time ( Time to identify the action of the above in our lives )
- Lent ( preparatory and release for the celebration of Easter Time )
- Easter ( crucial time , experience of the Passion and Resurrection of our Lord )
- San Pentecost ( Time to recognize that everything comes from Him)
- Ordinary Time ( Time to identify the action of the above in our lives )

1163 "Holy Mother Church considers it her duty to celebrate the saving work of her divine Spouse in a sacred commemoration on certain days throughout the year. Every week , on the day called " the Lord " , commemorates his resurrection , once a year also celebrates along with his holy passion, the greatest solemnity of Easter. Moreover, in the cycle of the year unfolds the whole mystery of Christ . [ ... ] in thus recalling the mysteries of redemption, opens the richness of the virtues and merits of their Lord , so that makes them somewhat present throughout time, the faithful to reach them , and filled with the grace of salvation " (SC 102 ) .
