A very simple way to get started in prayer is to sit in front of a Tabernacle and start speaking to God.
Tell him this, that and beyond
And then what you feel, come to mind, thought and heart write it in a notebook
The resulting notes can always be shared with a Priest who will attend you delighted and you already have the four legs of the table to begin with the Prayer: You, God, the Priest and your notes
